It is based on the ideals of the religious and social reformer, Swami Dayanand Saraswati. D.A.V. Public School, Patna Gaya Bypass Road, Nasirnachak, Masaurhi is glorious link in the prospering chain of DAV Schools. Our School is located at Patna-Gaya Bypass road near the village Nasirnachak Masaurhi Subdivision and 2.5 k.m East of Taregna Station, Masaurhi and about 5 K.M east north from the historical place Nadauna Village.It is the Birth Place of the great mathematician Legendary Aryabhatta. There was a set up for Astronomical Observatory in Taregna by Aryabhatta. Historians and archaeologists have recently spotted a mound at Nadauna village of Masaurhi, which they believe is atop a Buddhist Stupa that dates back to the 3rd Century BC.

The school has been established in the year 2012 and is running progressively up to class VIII. At present, the strength of the school is about 500.The school has 2 buses of its own without any bank liability.

The school consists of well maintained computer Labs as well as suitable playground for the students.
