• Dayanand Anglo Vedic (DAV) Girls Senior Secondary School is an all-girls day school, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was established in 1970. The Tamil Nadu Arya Samaj Educational Society registered under the Society’s Act is managing the School. The school functions on the principles advocated by the social and religious reformer, Swami Dayanand Saraswati. It adheres to the teaching practices instituted by The Dayanand Anglo Vedic System of Education.

Girls Senior Secondary School, Gopalapuram has an excellent infrastructure with well qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching staff headed by a highly dynamic and zealous Principal committed to the cause of education. The results of AISSE(Class X) and AISSCE (Class XII) have been outstanding from the very outset, with numerous students scoring subject centums, merit certificates and high subject averages much to our joy and delight.
• Students on successfully completing their schooling, have enrolled for professional courses like engineering, medicine, chartered accountancy, law, architecture and fashion technology. Many students have gained admission at reputed institutions like the IITs, the NITs, the National University of Singapore (NUS) for engineering and leading medical colleges to name a few. A number of students have also been offered scholarships to pursue higher education at other prestigious foreign universities with scholarships. In the All India Entrance Examination to the five year M.A. Integrated Course in Humanities and Social Sciences at IIT Madras, our students have secured top ranks at the national level. Many of our commerce students have been proud rank holders at CA and other professional courses as well. Our girls have also done the school proud by winning the prestigious NTSE scholarship from time to time. Several of our students have been invited by the Prime Minister of India to witness the Republic Day Parade from the PM's box at Rajpath, New Delhi on the basis of their outstanding performance in the CBSE examinations.
• To aid the students of classes XI and XII, in their pursuit of admission into professional courses in the field of medical science, an extensive and uniquely designed NEET integrated programme handled by experienced professors and teachers has been launched.
• The school envisions the holistic development of each child and hence encourages participation in extracurricular activities too. The school offers varied activities after regular classes, to choose from, based upon the student’s interest. Chess, theatre, yoga, fitness, music, financial literacy,etc to name a few.
