It aims at providing highest degree of competitive education to its students to face the changes of the time.   DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi took over the Government Model School, Patratu in May 2016 with the aim to provide quality education to the students remote areas.   DAVMPS is a co-educational English Medium institution running from LKG  to Class XII the school is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. The school is functioning under the aegis of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi which is successfully running more than 1000 schools across India. In pursuit of the guidelines laid down by DAVCMC. It prepares ths students to take on All India Secondary School with modern educational pedagogy that help students to learn better.  The school has transport facility to pick-up and drop students from different parts of the Rajpur town and nearby localities like Sankargarh, Bariyon, Pasta, Narsinghpur etc. The students can apply for the transport facility in the beginning of the session and can avail the transport facility.  The school has a students council, a representative structure for students, through which they can be involved in the affairs of the school, working in partnership with the teachers and parents. The students take oath of the office at the beginning of every session. This gives immense opportunity to develop the leadership quality of the child. They can show their leadership quality in the various walks of life and learns to shoulder responsibility.  PTI is an important medium of interaction between parents and teachers. DAVMPS, Patratu provides this opportunity to each and every parent whose child is inducted into our school. Parents can come on the specified dates and discuss with the teachers about the progress of the child. They can share important information related child’s academics, health and other school related activities.  We begin the school day with Gayatri Mantra, Prayer, Pledge. Thought for the day, News Headlines, Amazing Facts, GK questions, recitation of poems/rhymes, Story Telling followed by a rendition of the national anthem are an integral part of the morning assembly. We start our day by making a firm commitment to do our best for the school and ourselves. A platform to express our thoughts and feelings and display our talent is provided through regular assemblies. In true sense it gives an opportunity to develop leadership quality of the students and develops the art of public speaking. To greet every one and obtain blessings from elders is the highlight of our Assembly. The whole school is vertically divided into four houses – Dayand, Vivekanand, Sharadhanand and Hansraj. The students of each class are equally divided into four houses. All the teachers become the member of different houses to support, guide and assist in the house activities. Each house has house masters (Teacher), captain (Students), Vice-captain (Student) to lead the house activities. This house system provides a platform for positive competition and a closer rapport between students and teachers. In nutshell, DAVMPS, Patratu provides a congenial, positive, creative educational environment that supports and nurtures young and talented minds of this locality. Our programs are qualitatively and quantitatively distinctive in their depth, breadth, methodology and excellence. We train the children to conquer over the inner fear and to become confident of doing the difficult things and ready to take on the world.
