DAV Public School is a Co-Educational English Medium Secondary School situated in T-Plot near Gurudwara, Lukhi. This school was established in 1991, it has got C.B.S.E. affiliated in the present session (2016-17). It is now rapidly progressive, with (it’s extremely innovative curriculum) development the school strength of nearly 300 students and about 17 working staff. The school emphasizes on quality education with perfection and commitment from nursery to class X. The Primary aim of the school is to provide quality education and inculcate among the students a feeling of integrated, personality, broad mindedness and self- confidence. So as to enable them to face the problems of life. Beside formal academic education, the institution aims at laying special emphasis on moral, spiritual and cultural development of the child.

The first institution of DAV established in June 1, 1886 at Lahore. The main objective of the DAV institutions is to import such education to the children as while it helps to imbibe in them a sense of deep patriotism and pride in their ancient culture and civilization in sties in them a disciplined outlook deeply dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge. These institutions aim at creating environment truly conductive to the development of the child mentally, physically and spiritually. The society is running more than 800 educational instructions’ under the inspiring guidance of our honorable president Shri Punam Suri Ji.
