Description

Toword the end of the nineteenth century when india lay in a socio-plitical ferment, it was maharishi dayanand saraswati,  the great torchbeares of india renaissance, who founded the arya samaj with a call “BACK TO VEDAS”. He gave the guiding principles of the arya samaj & also propounded the national system of education . his dream was realized when the first DAV school at lahorewa opened in 1886 with mahatma hans raj ji as honorary headmaster. After independence it was shifted to ambala city andmany more schools and colleges were started. In early 80’s many public schools were started  and a network of D.A.V public schools was laid all over the country. Today D.A.V college trust and management society is enjoyimg the statusof being the largest. Non-government educational organization managing a chain of around 700  institutions. The have produced great personalities like lala lajpatra, bhai  Parmanad,  lala dwarkadass, principal sain da,shaheed bhagat singh, kapil dev, yuvraj singh etc. who can rightly be called the “Pride of nation”D.A.V centenary public school,siwan is an integralpart of this chainwhich began its humble Journey in 1990 in a rented building. Presently it has a spacious building surrounded by lush green lawns situated amidst idyllic & pollution free environment at Basant Vihar, Siwan.
