  Founded in the year 1991, the DAV Public School Bankhandi directly managed by DAVCMC New Delhi is providing the perfect platform tothestudent’s community in the surrounding areas of Bankhandi. The school is located in the feet of Mata Baglamukhi Temple. In order to provide quality education eminent educationists, philanthropist & staunch AryaSamaji of the area took initiative to mobilize their resources with the help of most generous & altruistic people to bring this institution in the anal of DAV educational history.
  The school is working under the aegis of DAV organization whose pillars are Sh. Poonam Suri President DAV CMC, Mrs.J.Kackaria Director, Mrs. P. Sofat Regional Director, Mr.V.K.Yadav Asstt Regional Director, Sh. Ravinder Talwar Chairman, Sh. G.K Bhatnagar Manager, Sh.B.R.Dhial Vice-Chairman & other members of local managing committee. At present school is affiliated to HPBSE and imparting instructions from LKG to 10th standard.
  At first the school was started in rented building and had its own building in the year 2000 with 8 rooms. At present the school has 15 rooms with one library and one composite science laboratory. The school was started with 27 students up to classes 4th and at present the school strength is 350. The school has one bus for students’ transportation. The day is not far behind when the name of DAV Bankhandi will be in golden words.
