About 29 years ago, Kulwant Rai Jian DAV Public School, Kapurthala came into existence in a rented building. It began from a scratch in this rural environment and has today reached to glorious heights. In 1998, the first batch of secondary level students appeared for the Board Exam and in 2012 the senior secondary level students appeared for the Board Exam. The School is directly managed by DAVCMC, New Delhi and is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi vide affiliation no 1630216 and is imparting education from Nursery to 12th Standard in Medical, Non Medical , Commerce and Arts streams.
