S.L SURI D.A.V. Public School, Janak Puri is one the branches of the huge DAV family. It came in existence in year 1990 and got CBSE affiliation in the year 1991. The school which was initially started with only a few classes now has classes upto XII. The school was renamed from DAV Public School to S.L. Suri DAV Public school to commemorate Late Shri S.L. Suri (Ex-Chairman) self-less service to the school.
The school achieved heights under the guidance of principal Mrs. Neelam Khullar. This branch of DAV is one of the best schools of Janak Puri and is proud of getting 100% results every year in classes VIII, X & XII. Besides its excellent result in academics, the school has earned its name in the field of sports, arts, music and other co-curricular activities. Every year the students bring laurels to the schools. They get medals at zonal and national levels.
