SAVITRI DEVI D.A.V. PUBLIC SCHOOL, JAMTARA (Jharkhand) is situated just 2 KMs away from Jamtara Railway Station and Bus-Stand at Namupara in the out-skirts of Jamtara Nagar Panchayat with lush green environment. The school came into existence in the year 2002 in collaboration with Siksha Vikas Trust, Jamtara with a view to provide qualitative English Medium Education to the tribal and deprived children of Jamtara and its adjoining areas. Since then the school has improved leaps and bounds and now it has become the leading and the most reputed educational institution of Santhal Pargana in Jharkhand. The school got C.B.S.E.affiliation in the year 2009 and has become a full-fledged Secondary School with the largest students' strength and the most competent constellation of teachers in the town.
